Searching Routes to A Place in Delhi? Get it by SMS ,WAP or Ineternet.

Now a new service has been launched by which you can find out the routes to a place . The service is presently available for Delhi-NCR geography. But the SMS request can be sent from anywhere in India.

How to get routes?
The process of getting the route is very simple . Send folllwing SMS to the number  56767

rg source-location-name to destination-name

For example , you may require a route guide to reach Mayur Vihar from India Gate. So you will have to send the SMS to 56767 as under

 rg India Gate to Mayur Vihar
Cost?

The cost of the request is between Rs. 1 to Rs. 3 per Request-SMS, depending upon your telephony operator. This will appear in your monthly bill from your operator.

Have WAP?
If you have WAP facility , you can use the WAP site of routeguru.com to get the the route guide. Here is the address

By Ineternet
visit routeguru.com and yu can find the route , which can then be sent to a mobile. SO , if a friend, relative or any body is stuck some where in Delhi (NCR) and you want to send the route ,
  1. get it on internet site routeguru.com
  2. Send it to mobile number of the person who is stuck somewher in Delhi
  3. That person will get an SMS which will ask him to send just rg to 56767.
  4. Once he /she send rg to 56767 , the route will be downloaded on his mobile by SMS.
